Sustainable development

As a globally operating firm, Coqui is aware of its social and environmental responsibilities. Aligning commerce, the environment, and society's goals for the benefit of future generations is among our fundamental principles and has become an integral part of our corporate culture.

We recognize that being part of today's globally connected world requires us to shoulder our share of environmental responsibility. In the world we live in, we want to live tomorrow, and then pass it on to future generations.

We have three strategic aims to guide our work:

Zero Environmental Footprint

Zero Environmental Footprint

We will remove and reduce the use of disposable materials like bags, hangers and labels. Cartoons and hang-tags will only be made from recycled cardboard and recycled paper. By 2023, we have set a goal of reducing our carbon footprint by 30% with offsetting project funding. Other projects and measures will help us to make CO2 neutral by 2026.

100% Life Cycle Managed

100% Life Cycle Managed

We will give a new life to footwear that has already been served. Coqui are recyclable because of their composition. We want them-even through the help of our partners, to come back to us, where we will crush it, process it, and make something completely new out of it. The customer take-back project will be launched in 2022. By 2025, Coqui footwear will have a 100% life cycle.

Sustainable design and inovation

Sustainable design and inovation

We will only use materials that have been produced by an environmentally sustainable process or have a natural or recycled origin. Extension of footwear life cycle. In 2024, we will present part of the collection made from the aforementioned materials. In the coming years, we will aim to extend the life cycle of our footwear.
